Flights to Thailand

Flights to Bangkok

Bangkok is the cheap flight capital of Asia. Finding a cheap flight to Bangkok is probably easier than finding a cheap flight to any other destination in Asia. Bangkok also has good travel connections with other countries in Asia such as India, Burma, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Online travel agents such as ebookers and Airline network are a good way to find cheap flights from England to Bangkok. The cheapest airlines are usually the gulf airlines such as Qatar airways, Etihad airways, Kuwait airways and Gulf air. However, the cheap airlines often have a stop-over in the gulf which means that the total journey time (each way) can be 18 hours or more. Airlines such as Thai airways and British airways offer non stop flights which usually take 11 to 12 hours.

If you are looking for a cheap flight to Europe from Bangkok, then Khao San road in Bangkok has a lot of travel agents. Usually the cheapest fares are with airlines such a Bangladesh Biman, SriLankan airlines and PIA. However, most travel agents don't want to sell tickets for the cheapest airlines and will tell you that these airlines are full. If you are really determined, keep looking and you might find an agent that will agree to sell you a ticket with the cheapest. Most agents are happy to sell tickets for the slightly more expensive gulf airlines. Of course, do be careful as there have been rogue travel agents on Khao san road who cheat their customers. I have bought airline tickets from Khao san road travel agents many times and have never been cheated, maybe I've just been lucky.
